Stage Two

On Monday 21 September 2009 Sunbury Outdoor Solutions began work on the children's yard.

The playground and surrounding play areas are now ready for use!!!!!!

We hope everyone is pleased with the result and look forward to the children and families enjoying the space for years to come.

Some detailed information for you:

The four main play spaces constructed in the playgrounds surrounding areas are; the stage, the dirt kitchen, the storage box/seat and the two herb boxes.

There is a dripper irrigation system installed which has been connected to our existing control panel. This will be operated on an automatic timer.

We are hoping to install a few slimline rainwater tanks in both the front garden and children’s yard but are still waiting for Council and Heritage approval for this.

We are now turning our attention to Stage Three the second half of the children’s yard. We will keep you informed of this process.
